Bet365 Casino is an offshoot of the UK-based sportsbook Bet365. This operation is heavily UK-focused, and as such may not be a well-known brand to those based outside of the United Kingdom. However, as this casino operates using Playtech software, it is still likely to be a popular choice for online casino players, and as such deserves a review here at Online-Casinos.com.
Bet365 Casino offers players a small number of 'instant play' casino games which are accessible directly from the Bet365 website. However, for the full gaming experience that Bet365 has to offer, the download version of the online casino must be used.
As a side point, the website is very impressive if only for the different languages in which it is viewable - every page is available not only in English but also in Spanish, German, Italian, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and what I believe is Chinese and Japanese! As such, despite Bet365's UK roots, it is likely to have a global appeal.
Obtaining the required software is easy with a few clicks on the website launching the casino installer. This installation program is just 418k in size, although further files are then requested from a central server for installation on a player's computer. This is an easy process however, and on my broadband connection I had the software installed within a few minutes.

However, for some reason the casino software initially wouldn't let me in - for once I had a real reason to contact support! Once she had resolved my problem I was able to log in without issue and headed over to the cashier. However, be warned - I actually lost both my money and the bonus part way through the wagering. Yet a further deposit I made was still bound by the bonus terms - as such, not everyone may want to receive this bonus.
The casino games at Bet 365 Online Casino are presented in a now standard lobby format. Only one game (Blackjack) is initially accessible, but other games are downloaded in the background. Similarly, any game can be 'forced' to download should a player have an overwhelming urge to immediately play a particular favorite.
Since Blackjack was pre-installed, I decided to play this game first. Although I opted for the single-hand game, both multi-hand and multi-player options are available. Also available is the fascinating Blackjack Switch game, where two hands are dealt and a player can choose to swap cards between hands!
Betting limits at Bet365's Blackjack tables are excellent, ranging from just £1 all the way to £1000. As such, high-rollers should feel as at home at Bet365 as the low rollers like me! Having said that, I decided to throw a few £10 bets around at this table - big bets certainly get the heart pounding!
Thankfully this proved to be a good move initially, as I soon found my bankroll touching the £100 mark. This was helped by some very lucky cards falling. For example, I hit a 5 on my hard 16 hand to make a nice 21 beating the dealer's 20 by just one point! Of course, not every session goes like this, but it was nice to start with a bit of luck for once! I was also completely comfortable with the presentation of the Blackjack game. From the smooth game play to the excellent graphics, the game really is as lifelike as a virtual casino can present. Little touches such as the friendly dealer voice simple enhance the overall enjoyment factor of the game.
Having had such a good start at the Blackjack table, I decided to play some of the other table games available. My other favorites of 3 Card Poker and Caribbean Stud Poker were both present and as such saw some action from me. I decided not to play the side-bet at Caribbean Stud Poker, although with the progressive jackpot standing at over £30,000 (about $60,000) for a royal flush I was definitely tempted.
Disappointingly, I didn't win the progressive jackpot, and in fact did pretty terribly full stop at the Stud Poker table. Although I had a few decent winning hands, I found that even some of my good hands were beaten. For example, I had a straight on one hand which I felt sure was a winner, only for the dealer to reveal a flush! Stupidly though, I thought some good hands must be on the way so upped my bet to compensate. This resulted in my once healthy balance being rapidly reduced to £0.
And so I decided to make another £50 deposit, but to move quickly away from the table games! Although having said that, I was sorely tempted to try out some of the live table games available. Through the wonders of technology, players can bet against real dealers which can be seen via a webcam setup - and let me tell you, Bet365 has some attractive dealers! In all seriousness though, real dealers are a definite draw for those concerned about online casino fairness.
Instead, I decided to play on some of the slot games available. Whilst Bet365 Casino does not have a huge number of games, it still has a reasonably wide selection. Also, each game is quite different from the next, unlike some casinos where a whole group of machines are simply clones of each other. There are also some nice progressives to be had, such as the Magic game I played on (with a jackpot of over £44,000 at the time of playing!) I also played on the Silver Bullet game as well as the Neptune's Kingdom game.
In terms of quality, the casino games I played were pretty good. The graphics were of better than average quality, and the accompanying sound effects were good. However, I have to admit that they were not quite up to the standard I have seen elsewhere. While for someone like me - a very occasional slot player - the games were good, I do think that hardened slot fans may be slightly disappointed. Nevertheless, I still had fun, even though my bank balance had dropped down to about £40 at the end of my slot session.
Finally, I decided to move on to the Video Poker part of the casino. As with slots, a good number of games are available, although not as many as at some competitor sites. This is particularly true of multi-hand games, where the 'biggest' game I could see was a 25-hand Aces and Faces game. Nevertheless, the games that are available are among most casino player's favorites, and all play excellently in terms of quality and game speed.
Thankfully, the Video Poker games also saved my bankroll! I decided once again to throw some big bets around, but this time my gamble paid off! A straight flush at Deuces Wild paid me £45 and a range of decent hands paid me £70 on my £35 bet while playing 10-play Jacks or Better.
All in all I ended up with a bank balance of just over £120. At this point I had also met the carried over wagering requirements and so went to make a withdrawal. It was at this point that I found that NETeller withdrawal requests need to be made over the phone! I found this strange, but after calling I found the withdrawal amount back in my NETeller account within about 5 minutes! This is excellent! Similarly, I think other withdrawal methods are processed almost instantly.
One thing that isn't as good though, is that extra NETeller withdrawals within 28 days of a request are hit with a £8 ($15) processing fee. Although some other withdrawal methods do not incur a fee, I did think it was bad that such a large operation is charging for withdrawals.
As I commented on support earlier, that now completes this review. In conclusion, I have to say I was very impressed with Bet365 Casino. The casino games are of a very high standard, and although not having as many games as some competitors (particularly in the Video Poker and Slot areas), there are still a very good number of games available. The casino's global focus is also a very positive point as is the excellent customer support function.
It is just a shame that some withdrawals incur a fee, particularly considering the speed at which these withdrawals are processed. Nevertheless, this is a minor blip on an otherwise excellent report card. Bet365 is definitely a great place to play at.
